The Regulation regulates international jurisdiction, applicable law, the recognition and enforcement of public decisions and documents, and creates the European Certificate of Succession.<\/p>\n<p>We must apply it when the causer was national of a Member State and at the time of his death had his habitual residence in another Member State.<\/p>\n<p>In the wills the law which we wish to apply to our succession may be determined.
